Hello, I am Benjamin Gebhard, a senior at Marquette University studying Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. Over the past few years, I have worked as a Software Engineer Intern at iStream Financial Services. During my internship, I have contributed to various impactful projects—from helping migrate our hosted payment page to a more modern version of Angular, which addressed several security concerns, to designing and creating clear, user-friendly API documentation that enables customers to integrate seamlessly with our systems. I have also worked with Java and PostgreSQL to support backend development, adding new features, resolving production issues, and ensuring system performance and reliability. Additionally, I assisted in transitioning batch exporters to a new Batch 3.0 framework and developed an email notification system to automatically inform customers and operation staff of batch process statuses. I am excited to continue learning about software engineering and eager to make an impact through meaningful projects. Feel free to reach out anytime.
